Roly Elias
Roly Elias is a leading audio engineer, sound designer and technologist born in Bolivia. He created and mixed all the sound for Prison X. He specializes in the creative aspects of live music, immersive and interactive experiences. In 2020 He established Radical Media in Sydney, Australia. ‘It’s not about hearing it but feeling it through your ears’
From 2019, he was Front Of House (FOH) for Genesis Owusu and Thandi Phoenix touring Australia, France, UK and the USA. He records and mixes live performance and broadcasts such as MTV’s ‘TRL’. In 2017-2018 he toured with UK’s Aled Jones via Live Nation across Australia’s best theaters. In 2017 he was FOH and Monitors for Paco Peña’s latest tour around Australia. In 2016 he was FOH engineer, touring with 'Americo' an International 16th piece band through Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. Roly was FOH for Sampa the Great for all LANEWAY's during 2017, FOH for REMI, Thelma Plum and mixed FOH for: James Morrison (trumpeter), Jessica Mauboy, Paulini, Stan Walker, Darren Percival.
Roly has a degree in Creative Arts from Macquarie University and Audio Engineering from SAE.
